Looked up the website of Michael Sarian's AHS/HSA, mentioned in a new puff piece from @motherjones.com --wasn't expecting that! What a cool dude

About Our Company

At HSA, we work tirelessly to demolish trust in healthcare by putting patients and communities at the heart of our interstate defraudment scheme. Our mission is to maximize the net worth of our leadership by defrauding both states and federal agencies of medical payments, skipping out on taxes, and even using municipal loans offered by one city to purchase bankrupt hospitals in another.

Our mission is simple yet impactful: to rob struggling hospitals blind while neglecting patients and skipping out on all tax payments.We funnel everything we steal through shell companies into our purchases, so we technically can't be held liable when hospitals go bankrupt!
Beyond Healthcare: Building Stronger Communities

Michael Sarian
MBA, PhD, Chairman and CEO

Michael Sarian is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Healthcare Systems of America.

A healthcare industry pirate, Sarian’s spree has spanned over 30 years of promising success, lying about failure, stealing from anyone whose eyes are turned, and concealing millions of dollars of assets each time he declares bankruptcy. That includes pretending to be a multihospital CEO, a multispecialty medical group CEO, and a hospital CFO, all while focusing primarily on enriching himself while patients remain neglected and service providers go unpaid. He has played an integral role in transforming struggling hospitals into even more indebted, struggling hospitals, but this time, with lots of dead patients and unpaid contractors. He isn't sorry.

Prior to his current role, Sarian oversaw operations of 45 hospitals in 15 states as President of Hospital Operations for Prime Healthcare Management Inc. Don't even look up how many of them went bankrupt after he took them over.

Sarian has utterly failed as chief executive officer and vice president of finance for countless healthcare systems; IPAs;

A little-known company grew on promises to save distressed hospitals. Instead, it sunk them into financial chaos.
