People keep talking about how this is the first solar eclipse visible in the UK for nearly 30 years but I have vivid memories of being at a conference in Edinburgh about 10 years ago and it adjourning to allow everyone to go outside and watch the solar eclipse. Was it a dream?! Am I going mental?

Listening to Fontaines DC doing the last ever session recorded at Maida Vale on 6 Music last night. So sad that it's been sold for redevelopment. I was lucky enough to record two sessions there and it was one of the most special places music has ever taken me to.

Still crazy to me that Fender didn’t do a Kevin Shields signature Jazzmaster a few years ago for the anniversary. The most famous JM player along with J. and Thurston, both of whom have had signature models made. Honestly I would be all over this like a nitrocellulose lacquer.
