This is the first and last time I am buying a ford. Got a 6th gen 2022 Bronco and the lower steering shaft went on it with under 60k miles. I don’t off road with it. I haven’t been able to drive it for over a month and it’s failed NYS inspection because of it.

Ok hobby peeps. My only hobby goal this year and I have 9 months is to finish all my necrons. I have list of what I have that is primed/needs to be built. I have a month by month break down of what I need to finish to get it over the finish line. I started this army at the beginning of 9th edition.

I haven’t worked on it a few days, but this is where I left off on the doom stalker. I am using Kabalite Green for the mid tone. It’s taking a long time as it needs several coats to cover good as it’s a layer paint.

Almost done with these flayed ones. Just need to finish the green armor panels and the bases. Really happy how the flayed skin came out. It’s a slightly tweaked recipe from @darcybonocreations.bsky.social that I picked up from one of her videos :)

I am having a real love/hate relationship with Necron flayed ones. They are a pain in the ass to put together and paint, especially the flayed skin. But man they are cool looking models. Looking to wrap up this unit of 5 and start my next unit of 5 in the back

Another thing that has helped tremendously is dialing in the consistency for painting layers to help blend in with the basecoats better. Working on different parts of a model while waiting for other parts to try. Especially when using contrasts or washes

So I been going hardcore into getting my Necrons finished this year. A couple of things I learned that has sped up my workflow is - using bigger brushes for basecoats. I am rocking army painter monster and regiment brushes for doing a lot of heavy work. Then I use a smaller kolinsky for details

Finished up a test Flayed One. I was able to complete it pretty quick and very happy with the results. The hardest part is picking out the flayed flesh parts.
