So excited to see 48 students starting at the new SFU Stephen Family School of Medicine. Training more doctors here in B.C. and recruiting U.S./international doctors is how we’re: ✅ Strengthening primary care across the province ✅ Matching 4,000 people to doctors each week

We’ve just signed a landmark, multi-billion-dollar agreement with the federal government that sets BC on a generational path to prosperity.   For too long, British Columbia hasn’t received our fair share. But today, that is changing.

Minister Maninder Sidhu is responsible for Canada’s international trade, As we work to diversify our wood product market in BC, it was important to discuss and see how our governments can work together to tap into more international trade for our world class wood. #cdnpoli

Historic: Bill 5, the Trade Recognition Act, just passed w/ all-party support! Building on B.C.’s leadership in removing interprovincial trade barriers, this means goods and services legally sold anywhere in Canada can now be sold in B.C.🇨🇦 No duplicate certificates required. 1/2

My parents owned a small business – their hard work taught me the values that led me to operate a business of my own. This Small Business Week, let's say thank you to the thousands of creative, resilient small business owners across B.C. who embody the best of our province!

Forestry workers built this province. Today, as they face unprecedented attacks from Donald Trump, we stand united with workers and industry leaders. We are calling on Ottawa to deliver the support they committed to the forestry sector — and to do it now.

For 50 years, Vanterm has connected BC to the world & is a key component of trade diversification. As Parliamentary Secretary for Trade, it was my pleasure to help commemorate their 50th anniversary & meet many dedicated longshore workers who’ve helped make Vanterm a top terminal in North America.

BC’s growth is Canada’s growth. A TeamCanada approach means we can defend Canadian steel producers while ensuring BC has access to fairly priced steel, so we can build our infrastructure, grow the economy, and continue supporting steel workers in B.C. 👉🏽 financialpost.com/news/economy...

As B.C. exporters navigate the uncertainty of unjustified U.S. tariffs, we’re making sure they can keep growing and exporting their products and services by becoming CUSMA-compliant. If you're a B.C. business thinking about exporting to the U.S., apply here for support: exnav.co/ccasi

My message at NYC Climate Week: Look to BC! Our clean energy means we can produce the lowest carbon energy products anywhere in the world. While clean tech is chased out of other places, they are welcomed in BC. We are ready to do this work while bringing prosperity to BC and Canada.

British Columbians are feeling the impact of unfair US tariffs on softwood and aluminum. We welcome a deal that works for BC, but let’s keep focused on moving to other markets who want our products. We will continue to grow our economy and deliver more family-supporting jobs for people.
