Nice to see this as "Mad Max 2" - as a kid growing up in the UK during the 70s and 80s this is how I remember this movie, only to find it by another name when I moved to the US. For me it'll always be "2".

IMHO, sometimes the call of "Bad VFX" is a reaction to preposterous visual effects in preposterous movies. Seems to me, bad VFX in a great movie is a much rarer occurence. This is a whole separate conversation apart from the enjoyment I derive from good "bad' movies. A delicate balance indeed.

Very excited to see #armorpaint hit 1.0. SInce Substance moved from Allegorithmic to Adobe, a fresh face on the scene with much more flexible usage terms is much appeciated. I've been hanging on to my legacy perpetual license for Substance Painter, but can't wait to give this alternative a try.

Unfortunately in commercial work such as VFX or advertising. Everything comes down to the almighty dollar. If something can be done for less, it will and I can say from personal experience, that we are seeing more and more AI work with evey passing week in VFX.

Am I in the minority not being a T2 fan? I remember going to see it in theaters and coming away very disappointed after being such a fan of the B-move simplicity of the original. Tried to sit down and watch it again for the frist time in years on streaming recently and gave up after 20 min.

Coincidentally just read your article. I saw the OG Busters in theaters as a kid and loved the hell out of it ever since. I remember having a great time watching Feig's reboot. Never understood the hate. It's got 10x the love and energy of the abysmal films since.
