Watching Louis Theroux's interview with Chelsie Manning on BBC you can see how a Computer Scientist sees the world. My favourite part is when she talks about problem-solving skills to solve the Irak war but realises it is a human problem, not a statistical/maths problem. #teamcompsci

Today, is the last day of my U6 students.& one student that didn't choose A-level comp sci came to tell me that CS was her fav GCSE. She didn't pick it BC she is going to be a doctor. This comment was the best reward I could ask for all those extra unpaid hours I put into my work. TY! #teamcompsci

Today, we can come to work as ourselves, dressed in anyway that express who we really are. To make an statement of 'this is me' and celebrate out diversity. I dress as myself every day, but I wonder if I should go in comfy joggers and a baggy t-shirt, as it's the most comfortable clothes I've got!

Oh, I love the stiching machine you've got at Uni and how you can design finger puppets! We teach Python turtle at school and at the end the students get to print their creations, which is cool, but not as cool as stiching them! I feel inspired now, thank you!

Although I agree that teaching should go beyond simply preparing students for exams, I personally feel that engaging with the exam content has made me a better teacher. It has helped me identify patterns in students’ work and better understand the root of common misconceptions.
