We've been testing Sony cameras that embed a #C2PA authentication certificate in every image, and can extract depth information (screenshot, image by Fred Lum) for further verification an image is genuine. www.theglobeandmail.com/gift/8411557...

Joe Castaldo also reported on Yoshua Bengio's venture to keep AI safe. The non-profit is called LawZero, a reference to Isaac Asimov’s Three Laws of Robotics. The stipulate that intelligent machines must not harm human beings, follow human orders and protect themselves.
