This place reminded me of the Soup Nazi episode of Seinfeld. There's a way to order CORRECTLY: you have to email your order in 5 days before, no less than 1 day. There are signs everywhere admonishing if you didn't order ahead. Blunt, matter-of-fact signs everywhere. It's their prerogative.

We went to the second best rated Chinese Restaurant in the entire country over the weekend. It's located in Rhode Island (if you were curious). This is what we ordered. My fave was the scallion pancakes. Husband's was the noodles. The 9yo loved everything.

Our friends invited us to their lake house in New Hampshire last week and it was G-L-O-R-I-O-U-S. Water was super clear, it was calm during the weekday and even though I broke out in HIVES on the first night (some lake parasite probably), it was still sublime to spend four days in serenity.

Went into the city last night with the in-laws & 9yo while my husband had a work thing at a brewery. We had dinner at an Italian restaurant with the best parker rolls. That the manager told us they're getting rid of! My husband said to me later "I don't know if I'd go back...". He's harsh!

it's CRAZY HAIR DAY at the theater summer camp (my work) and one boy turned up with Alfalfa hair. So I made a point of taking a photo of him and featured him on our socials. Loved it!
