I had a chance to sit down with Alan Ernstein at RAGECon this weekend (in addition to playing a couple of his games, too!) And I've got to say it was a wonderful experience. He gave us some advice about game development as a set of skills that require individual practice.

Third live playtest with the new streamlined card draw. I was concerned not having a card market would limit player choice on dragon evolution, and i suppose it does, but the players don't see it. They draw four and keep two each round. Small choices, still lots of variation.

I've played Garage Rock three times at protospiel events and it's a wonderful game. You all play packs of teenagers in the Big Hair era trying to break into the big time. It's a blast. Really looking forward to this one!

Only morons believe this. That party-line republican budget has loaded our economic pipeline with a payload of middle and low income pain. Minimally, I expect democrats not to approve a CR for this smoking pile of fecal matter. All GOP is doing is moving up the timeline on these mass firings.

Cutting maybe 12 billion (a year) in renewable subsidies because the industry "is mature" while leaving in place 20 billion in oil subsidies is an attack on clean energy. Cutting nearly a trillion out of Medicare (10y) is an attack on seniors that will close hospitals and cost lives.
