New arrival for my collection! I was torn about whether I wanted the Kaguya or Tsukasa bonus for this volume but ended up going with Kaguya. Who knows,if the opportunity arises, maybe I'll get the Tsukasa as well lol.

Day 35 - favorite sports anime/series I'm gonna go with catch me at the ballpark. Bit of recency bias, but I really enjoyed this anime a lot. It's not a sports drama, sports is more the side thing, it's more of a sol comedy anime. What I really like about this anime is rather than just having the

The way Hata- sensei connects real history seamlessly into his story is so captivating! Recently, I've been contemplating posting new chapters. Previously ,I gave spoiler warnings, but maybe it's best avoiding here. I hate spoiling things for people, even by accident,so I'd love input on that.

Day 32 - Character you would love to cosplay as Not much of a cosplayer really, but guess I'll go with Nasa, easy enough. Last time I said hayate, but I don't have hayate hair anymore, got a haircut a few months ago

Day 31 - Character you're most similar to irl I'll stick with bocchi, socially awkward and introverted but improving myself over time. Also play guitar too, but not nearly as good as her lmao

黑輪伯仔 (Oden uncle) by 林強 This is a great taiwanese hokkien song from the 90s by Lim Giong. It's about an uneducated steel worker during taiwan's period of rapid modernization. He always tries to act cool, hangs out with bad crowds, and covers his pain in alcohol. But one day he meets this old oden

Day 23 - mid anime carried by its animation/art Demon slayer, ufotable doing a lot of heavy lifting

pastanick @pastanick.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Day 22 - anime with the best story/narrative There's tons of anime with great story/narratives, but one anime that I feel is exceptional specifically cause of the story more so than anything else, is 5 cm per second. The way we follow the characters throughout their lives, seeing relationships form

Day 21 - anime with the best animation/art Plenty of contenders for this one, but I'll stick with violet evergarden. Kyoani really just did a superb job with it, it's so beautiful. Honorable mention to all the ufotable fate anime, those are also animated insanely well

Day 19 - Anime you wish was real I'll just say the hataverse since saying tonikawa or hayate automatically means the other is real too. The hataverse does technically take place in reality to certain degrees, real history and what not, but has its fictional twists. But real hinagku would be cool

Day 18 - Anime character you would love to be born as Honestly I might go with saiki k. That world seems pretty fun to live in, and Saiki k is the master of just living freely and doing whatever he wants without standing out much, which sounds pretty nice to me

Day 17 - Adaptation that enhanced its source's reputation Quite a few recently. Bocchi was basically unknown before the anime and is now known as peak. Frieren manga was pretty well known but the anime took it to another level. Orb was unknown but the anime brought it the respect it deserves

Day 16 - Adaptation that ruined its source's reputation While the hayate adaptation was quite mid, it didn't really ruin it's reputation I don't think. But one punch man on the other hand, oh boy, that absolutely ruined its reputation. Especially s3 being one frame man, really unfortunate
