I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!

Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio
Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024

By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved

With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1

For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1)

And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2

zack 🦇 commissions open! @vampbyte.bsky.social · 17/10/2024

i'm zack aka VAMPBYTE, an illustrator & comic artist and creator of the webcomic The Necromancer's Assistant! i draw a lot of horror, fantasy, and romance 🌠 i also post CSP assets and tutorials from time to time as well! ✉ vampbyte.art@gmail.com 💼 vampbyte.crd.co 🔗 vampbyte.carrd.co #OCartist

A group portrait of five men (two at the top, one in the center, two at the bottom), with each of the outer four looking yearningly at the man in the center. The top-left man has dark skin, red eyes looking away from the viewer, and black coily hair which is tied back with a red ribbon. The top-right man has pale white skin and long, silver hair and yellow eyes, and is wearing a black bodysuit mask over his mouth and nose. The man in the center has medium tan skin and long, dark blue hair with silver streaks. His eyes are golden. The bottom-left man has light skin, short black hair with a silver gradient at its roots, a mustache, and is wearing a decorative red rose eyepatch over his visible eye. The bottom-right man has light skin, blonde hair cut into a choppy jellyfish cut with curls at the bottom, and pale blue eyes.

A reversible image of two characters over an abstract magic background. On the left, the character has long red hair with pale streaks, dark tan skin, and is wearing a lacy golden dress with an open side revealing their legs. They have golden magic behind their fingertips. On the right, the other character has short black hair, pale white skin, and is wearing a black coat and open-chested vest. They have black shadow-like magic coming from their palm.

An art-nouveau inspired cover for the webcomic series, The Necromancer's Assistant. Features two men in the center, back-to-back while facing the viewer, over a collage background of a cemetery. The man on the left is taller, with long, dark hair with one gray streak. He is wearing a vest and cravat, and has a dagger pointed up at himself. The man on the right is shorter, with curly brown hair tied into a ponytail with a ribbon. He is wearing a vest and ribbon, and is holding a large rifle in both hands.

A portrait of two men with their fingers laced together. The rightmost man, a vampire with curly brown shoulder-length hair and red eyes, is about to bite the neck of the other. The leftmost man, who has short, dark green hair and brown eyes, has his neck exposed and is looking knowingly at the viewer. There are papers floating in the background and the title text reads "Memoir Immortalis - The Vampire of House Gardet"
