I've now finished my rewatch of Attack on Titan seasons 1-3 God It's definitely enhanced on a second watch, so well put together technically, so many strong parallels. And the entire last 4 episodes just get elevated even higher than they already are. Fantastic stuff

12. The End of Evangelion (Rewatch) Similar experience to the anime all around, relative to my first time through for both. That is to say, still very easily among my favourites but now I find myself better understanding what is being said and why it affects me on a personal level.

5. 86 Cour 2 It's kind of just better in every way Felt much more focused, and while it still had some generally minor pacing issues, not spending 7 episodes killing off 3/4ths of the cast does so much for it in terms of characterization especially. Ending is also just extremely strong.

Last thing I'll bring up is that atlus really is back to what they've been previously. Will isn't a fully silent protagonist but he's pretty damn close, and he's among their best. Between this and Vengeance I am actually confident saying they're back to being good at this.

The one thing I'll bring up against it is that there are some parts that are paced a little weird, particularly at the start and end of the game, and the death flags are WAAAAAY too obvious. I understand setting up character deaths but my god this game can be a bit much.

The social links and social stats are how they should be handled in persona from now on. The fact you can very easily max them all out without having to optimize time spent on things is very nice. If it was just gameplay id understand why they dont do this normally, but it's character stories

The designs in the game are consistently great, I think everyone has a very striking and memorable design, at least out of the main cast. The art in general is also very nice, and its by far their best looking 3d game.

I also think they really overdid it with passives that interact with the turn system. Some of these are way too good. I think if some of those were nerfed/removed and strohl's damage was reduced it'd probably be the best press turn we've had.

Gameplay is press turn, and while I do really like a lot of the systems certain lategame archetypes really make it so the game is too easy at the end and your party is basically fixed to strohl and heismay which is unfortunate. still a fun game, just some weird balancing

When it comes to the social commentary I was actually very pleasantly surprised. I had expected very little out of this aspect of it given Hashino's history but this is a game that is very self aware about its own idealism and treats things with a lot more tact than i expected, no real complaints

Metaphor Thread I have a lot to say. I think this is among the best casts atlus has ever put out, theres nobody who feels extraneous and I think the overall quality is just so high even for the NPCs. The weakest of them is probably like Bardon but even still I like him.
