it is meant to be harkening back to smt and stuff but the writing and plot and world just does not work for the tone or style they're trying to do. i carved through like 4 guys as part of a plot sequence and felt nothing because it genuinely didnt matter

yeah this is a direct selling point of the game you can engage in Nicey Duels (normal) or Shadow Duels where you die if you lose and the antagonists use shadow duels. also if you just duel anytime while outside at night that's also a shadow duel that'll kill people? so don't do that

when i say i have a blood feud with senran kagura it makes me look like i'm not a fan of huge boobs. this couldn't be further from the truth. senran kagura took priority over half minute hero, which is about as bad as mankind's original sin. when half minute hero 3 is released, the feud will end

got some info from the dev that really should've been in the game -nearly every area has 4 monsters (some early game areas/other specific areas might be exceptions, but vast majority) -the lowest encounter rate is 10% this lets me take notes without worrying i went super dry on a 1%
