For corroborating evidence, I offer an excerpt from Cassidy Hutchinson's book, "Enough", where she details how Mike Lindell wanted to declare martial law post-J6 to keep Trump in power:
On January 15, Mike Lindell arrived in the West Wing, escorted by Mark, who dropped him off at the Oval. He showed up after his meeting, demanding to see Mark. “We can still win. I have my notes. The president said I need the chief’s sign-off.” Oh, for the love of . . . The president doesn’t want this nut around anymore. When I told Mark that Lindell was in our suite, he rolled his eyes and told me to take him up to White House counsel. I went upstairs, and Pat Philbin told me, “Just try and get him out of here.”

I had left Lindell in the West Wing lobby, where I found him waiting, thumbing through his plan to declare martial law and keep Trump in power. “Hey, sir, everyone’s tied up right now. Why don’t you give us a call later?”

With that, Lindell pushed past me, hustling up the stairs. I was at his heels as he informed me, “No one here cares about the president. No one here is loyal to him. Including you.”

He bolted into counsel’s office, directing more profanity at me and staff there. Pat Cipollone emerged, and scolded, “Do not talk to my staff like that! It’s over. You need to leave.”

Later, Liz called me to come upstairs. Everyone in the counsel’s office was huddled around her computer, looking at an image posted online of Lindell outside the entrance to the West Wing, holding his notes, which were clearly visible. One line was redacted with black marker. “You know what that said?” Pat asked us. “Fire Pat Cipollone. He wanted me to fire myself.”

Five days to go.

Look at this ridiculous price history for a pretty regular 1TB Samsung SATA SSD. Not even an NVMe or huge capacity or anything. Literally went 5x in the past ~3 months to nearly $500. They're all like this.
Price history over 1yr. Price is $75-100 until ~March-April, where it jumped in price to $300. June price jumped again to where it's listed at $500

AOL screenshot:

Labor Day, which is considered the unofficial end of summer, always falls on the first Monday of September. In 2026, Labor Day will fall on Sept. 7.

Labor Day is exactly what it sounds like: A day off work, to celebrate the achievements of those in the workforce.

“Observed the first Monday in September, Labor Day is an annual celebration of the social and economic achievements of American workers,” The U.S. Department of Labor website says.

“The holiday is rooted in the late nineteenth century, when labor activists pushed for a federal holiday to recognize the many contributions workers have made to America’s strength, prosperity, and well-being.”

ICE flights. Monday, June 1, 2026. At least 68 ICE flights on 24 charter planes, at least 12 removal flights to Mexico (3), Guatemala (2), Dominican Republic (2), one each to Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Peru, and Venezuela.
An ADSBx map of North and South America showing 24 planes doing dozens of flights branching out from Louisiana and Texas toward northern cities (round-up flights), Central and South America (removal flights), and going between ICE detention hubs (shuffle flights).

said this in a work email last week and, uh, shared my views with one of my groupchats.
my list of most likely affected products in north america if this goes on for another 2 months:
1. non-natgas fuels [higher cuts like gasoline and propane first]; propane is starting to show shortage here in NA, developing asia is basically turbofucked already due to heavy use of lpg as cooknig fuel. SPRs will be basically empty by september or so.
2. lubricants (round half of global motor oil was made in the gulf)
3. aluminum (price soaring, gulf was 10% of global aluminum)
4. ammonia/fertilizer (already in critical shortage, GCC was 1/3rd global urea supply). given weather (el nino), this years harvest is gonna suck.
5. plastics, particularly naptha-derived plastics (polyethylene and polypropylene are the two most common plastics, like half the market, and they are both from naptha) - my concern now is food packaging, i've got supply chain guys wondering where they're gonna get salad bags. lot of stuff will be moving to paper soon.
6. sulfur. basically all electrical metals refining (copper, cobalt, etc) requires this. GCC was half.
7. methanol; china uses a TON of this for all their olefin/alkene manufacturing processes, third of that is gone (think PET water bottles, polyester clothes...)
8. helium; essential for MRI operations and chip manufacturing, TSMC says they have enough to get through the summer. bout a third was supplied by qatar and it all got blowed up.
9. petcoke, but they're substituting with coal coke for now. this is dumb and bad for the machines but short-term fine.

Can't print molecules.

Choose your Leaders with wisdom and forethought.
To be led by a coward is to be controlled
by all that the coward fears.
To be led by a fool is to be led
by the opportunists who control the fool.
To be led by a thief is to offer up your most precious treasures to be stolen.
To be led by a liar
is to ask to be told lies.
To be led by a tyrant is to sell yourself and those you love into slavery.
