Wisdom tooth extraction was attempted coz it looked sort of close to the nerve, so was more of a ‘well if this doesn’t help, we need to send you to a specialist) sort of thing.

If it’s the second, brain surgery already on the cards to try to aid the constantly rising CSF in skull… (in one area) But reading there’s also chances it might need to be in another area too. That has a 66% recurrence rate though. 🫠

Well… wisdom tooth extraction attempt 1 swelling is down (which is good) but the facial nerve pain has returned, likely coz it’s not fully out yet at least… If the tooth isn’t the one that’s caused the pain, I also found a link with my CSF pressure being something that could have triggered it too.

Good shout!! Need to ask the neurologist if there are any neck stretches that are okay. - I have too much fluid in my skull, so it’s all being a bit extra complicated.

Thank you!!!! Will look into these! It’s the nerves in my face so I’m not sure I can lift with that hehe! The stretching atm seems to trigger it sometimes as even small movements are making things angry. It’s so weird but really painful. Think it could be the trigeminal nerve from pain location.

Okay, but does anybody have any tips on how to concentrate if your nerves are screaming? Sometimes it gives me a few minutes of relief with some deep tissue massage, and then starts again.

Not terminal, which is fantastic. But it just feels like my very little tolerance window is getting smaller and smaller, and the traditional fixes make me worse.

It’s not even easy to fix. Chances are I might need a stunt in my brain. GP has referred me to haem as well because my blood isn’t doing the oxygen transportation thing… Meanwhile, my back up body systems are essentially in debt and have been for so long, that I’m just on reserve.

But it wasn’t possible to take it all. So I’m now waiting for them to try again at a place with the correct equipment for some bone removal. Whilst the swelling and pain goes down from the first attempt. I am strong willed. I am stubborn, but boy is this current state breaking me.

And it’s not even decent movement… it’s just basic movement. :/ And then my facial nerves started to throw extreme pain at me when I was eating and breathing, so dentist said maybe a wisdom tooth extraction might help…

And yet… I’m here, with the WILL of what I once was. An athlete. But current health means even the littlest (I mean less than 10 mins) worth of movement means it’s making me crash with post exersional malaise (PEM). Which makes things REALLY hard to get out of this doom loop.

Did some reading and apparently my set of conditions can mirror end stage heart failure despite my organs appearing okay. Cool cool. Things aren’t working at the cellular level so for example, my blood isn’t transporting enough oxygen, which makes them starved. Cool. 🫠

I’d like to be less harsh on myself, really. Every single part of me goes ‘YOU SHOULD JUST PUSH THROUGH EVERYTHING, WHY AREN’T YOU MANAGING?!’, but realistically, this WAS how little was managed even with the push. The body really lets you know when things are too much.
