Parker A Case, Ph.D. @parkeracase.bsky.social · 11/08/2026Even if the goal is to decrease US gov't spend on research (even specifically climate research), defunding a long-term, consistent, and authoritative observational report is asinine. 000

Parker A Case, Ph.D. @parkeracase.bsky.social · 07/07/2026What caught my attention here: O3BA leaves the fossil fleet with more coal, retiring it slower than it would have otherwise. And that's probably an undercount: the model doesn't even include the executive actions keeping coal plants online. The real overhang is bigger.heatmap.newsExclusive: New Report Says Trump Hasn’t Squashed Biden’s Clean Energy BuildoutA just-released MIT paper argues that the energy transition is still largely following the trajectory laid out in the Inflation Reduction Act. 000

Lava on the ground strongly heats air above it. The hot air rises, particularly quickly compared to ambient chilly air. In this case, wind conditions allowed the updraft to start rotating. Hence, volcanado! 1024461
