⚔️ Canis sine domino chapter 12/15 is out ‼️ ⚔️ First and last meetings, desperate warnings, and one pretty Godly Finger 👉💥 #KCDfic #hansry #histerik archiveofourown.org/works/842539...

In-game screenshot of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, with Canis sine domino Henry fighting off two soldiers inside the Nebakov fortress

Excerpt from Canis sine domino chapter 12, which reads:

"The helmet clatters on the ground as a hush falls on the rampart. Then, someone yells a curse and several men rush forward, their billhooks already at the ready. More crossbows are raised at him. Someone yells at everyone to stop moving at once.

Hans gasps and struggles against his hold, his hand flying to the hilt of his sword. Henry hears the vibrations of his voice against the edge of his hand. A small, shakily uttered: “Henry…?”

Henry steels himself, swallowing a wave of thick spit that almost clogs his throat. He can’t say anything, even quietly. He asked Hans to trust him, but deep down, it’s perfectly fine if he doesn’t. It means he’s been fooled. That they’ve all been fooled. He just has to hold on—hold on to this charade until, at last, they can get the fuck out of here.

“No one move! If a single one of you tries anything, I’ll open his fucking throat.” "

Screenshot in-game of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Hans Capon is walking while Henry of Skalitz trails behind, his face hidden in shadows, but his eyes fixated on Hans.

Excerpt of Canis sine domino chapter 11:

"After what feels like forever, footsteps return. Henry swallows thickly, hearing but not understanding the voices rising around him, and he wonders if he’s gonna get hit again. If they didn’t have enough, or if those are new tormentors. The bag is ripped away from his head, and even in the low luminosity of the single torch one of them is holding, Henry has to close his eyes to shield them from the sudden light.

“Henry! Goodness gracious, what have they done to you?”

A cough escapes him as he tries to instinctively answer before he realises who is standing next to him. His lashes flutter as he raises his head slowly, his breath a hiss every time he inhales and feels his ribs burn.

Then, before Henry can answer, the man addresses someone else, hissing above his shoulder: “What have you done?!”

At last, his vision clears up. Right next to him is Hans, still bloodied and his forehead bandaged up, icy fear shining in his eyes that turned ochre under the firelight. His hands hover in the air, certainly cataloguing the constellation of bruises scattered around his battered body.

Behind him, Zizka seems lost in a daze, his face closed off as he observes Henry’s maimed body. Hans’ cry of outrage brings him back to earth, but his surprise quickly turns to exasperation. “Me? I’ve been losing sleep as I waited for my scouts to come back and tell me whether an army will be at our doorstep when the sun rises, sir,” he seethes back, before he orders the guard to untie Henry."

Jfc this game Like really kojima was warning us against the army using CoD and co. to push teens to enlist and to recruit more people even in mgs2 but oof. Seeing it put like that in 2026, from a 2008 game, is chilling
