Helps that Kamiya is a fan of the series and Capcom themselves had made four 2D Zelda games prior to Okami's release.

Shadow Generations was so damn COOL.

And with that, Rhythm Tengoku is completed with all Perfects. Perfected Heaven, Fever, and now Tengoku.

Picture of a congratulatory message from Rhythm Tengoku. A heart with a "P" in the middle is displayed above a ribbon with "PERFECT" written on it. The text is all in Japanese.

Missing the transit so much when my commute gets jammed with traffic in spite of going through nothing but farmland.

While I grew up with Novakovic's soundtrack, I've been coming around to appreciating the GBA Wise tracks as well. Might have to track down a GBA cart for curiosity's sake.

Still feels surreal being back after our Japan trip.

PaperLink64 @paperlink64.bsky.social · 21/10/2024

Probably a better investment than Dr. Mario 64, lol Thank goodness I already have a good chunk of the expensive N64 games...

PaperLink64 @paperlink64.bsky.social · 21/10/2024

Perhaps a future addition to my N64 library?

Getting the Platinum for Forces was like 22 hours. 3 or 4 of those were ring grinding...

Echoes of Wisdom is good, unsurprisingly. It just feels nice having a new 2D Zelda game with proper dungeons again.
