Still around. Been busy being bamboozled by Mario Party Jamboree.

And with that, Rhythm Tengoku is completed with all Perfects. Perfected Heaven, Fever, and now Tengoku.

Picture of a congratulatory message from Rhythm Tengoku. A heart with a "P" in the middle is displayed above a ribbon with "PERFECT" written on it. The text is all in Japanese.

Echoes of Wisdom is good, unsurprisingly. It just feels nice having a new 2D Zelda game with proper dungeons again.

100 Super Jumps! That's a wrap.

Mario stands in the middle of a house covered in grass. He is behind a wooden table with a pitcher on top. A Chow and Thwomp are beside him. The text "Got a Super Suit!" is shown in a translucent text box.

Already got 3 Star Pieces in Mario RPG remake, and I've only been playing for 4 hours. I forget how phenomenal SMRPG's pacing is.

It was bound to happen eventually, but man, I do not know what to think regarding a live-action Zelda movie. I can only hope it turns out ok.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder 100% complete

PaperLink64 @paperlink64.bsky.social · 19/10/2023

Can't log in to old email accounts, Steam won't let me sign in, so I guess I'm just properly screwed aren't I.

PaperLink64 @paperlink64.bsky.social · 04/10/2023

I wouldn't be where I am today without Monster Hunter 4 and Splatoon 1's multiplayer, so seeing the services close down in April hurts a bit more than usual.

Pikmin 4 100%. I am Dandori'd out now.

PaperLink64 @paperlink64.bsky.social · 27/09/2023

The Olimar side-story in Pikmin 4 is so delightful.

000

PaperLink64 @paperlink64.bsky.social · 24/09/2023

A non-definitive list for now, sticking to a "one entry per franchise" rule:

PaperLink64 @paperlink64.bsky.social · 24/09/2023

Pikmin 4 postgame now. I think this might be my favorite entry?

100

PaperLink64 @paperlink64.bsky.social · 16/09/2023

Pikmin 4 is just too darn cozy, even Dandori Battles and night expeditions aren't too terribly stressful.

PaperLink64 @paperlink64.bsky.social · 11/09/2023

Mario Kart Tour ending content updates, Mario Kart 8 DLC pack 6 is probably on the way once the Direct is announced. Definitely starting to feel like a transitional phase now.

2D Mario is very reliable, so Super Mario Bros. Wonder looks to be yet another good game.

PaperLink64 @paperlink64.bsky.social · 12/08/2023

A Hat in Time is such a wildly inconsistent game. Some parts are great! Some parts make me want to launch the disc into the stratosphere. I want to like it, but man...
