I just can't believe this series exists. It didn't need to be this good. It was a show made for 5-10 year old girls. But it knew this could be something that stuck with people forever. And judging by this series legacy, I think it worked. It really does just ooze passion in every way.

All of the goodbyes and tears in this episode was intense. I choked up multiple times. This last shot of all the magic in their lives walking away was so emotional. It really nails the feeling of growing up. Saying goodbye to that whimsy.

I noticed throughout the series she became so mature. Like her character went from a ditsy funny cartoon character, to a really good, well adjusted friend to everyone. And I'm really glad they sorta showed that selfish, childish side of her again. Cause she is a child! It was really well done.

Final episode of Dokkan... and basically the series. yeah its beyond peak. I'm just insanely impressed with this show. The characters are just masterfully written, i'm not kidding. Doremi's struggle to cope with all of her constants in her life being up-rooted is so perfect for her.

this episode highlighted the strength of the va's more than anything. They're all so damn good in this show. Hana's is just outstanding and their delivery of the emotional scenes just adds so much punch to it. Seeing Rika's witch form again is so sweet. I'm glad they're truly wrapping things up

episode 50 was mainly just saying goodbye to the Witch World and getting the closure on their witch story. Very emotional, very good. very peak i loved it. Twist with the queen, I sadly had spoiled. But I kinda didn't believe the spoiler when I saw it? So was kinda fun to be like "THAT WAS TRUE?"

Ojamajo Doremi Dokkan i'm still in recovery mode from that ending omg. Some misses in this season, but man when its good its goooooood. I thought I was gonna hate older Hana, but it only took like 2 episodes for me to love her. And that ending.. whew. Super emotional and satisfying!

I feel nerdy, competitive hobbies, like a tcg, breed the worst mf'ers alive. So it really feels one in a million that i'm chill to friends with basically every single regular in our group. We all take it seriously, but never forget why we show up. For the love of the game and One Piece as an IP.

my little OPTCG community and I lost a friend to cancer a few weeks ago. So we ran a little tournament to honor him. And I went 4-0 with Pudding! It was a great time and really has me reflecting on how great out group is. I'm really lucky to have this group to play with every week.

Yeah! I think those people are the ones I don't appreciate being so villainized and where the hypocrisy feels most relevant. I think anyone sensible can recognize ai as poison. But almost everyone have levels to what they tolerate and software they choose to engage with regardless.

Yeah and I def like that take! I do think this sorta space is a way to supply more attainable pressure against ai. Pressuring individuals is a lot easier than an entire companies infrastructure.

I am not. Ai is a gross, unethical practice that has been running rampant in so many aspects of life. It's less about what ai is, but how it's being abused and its danger to environment in the long-run.

Theres an argument to be made that these smaller, inconsequential projects is where vibe coding hurts the most. Because this is stuff where passion is at the forefront. But i could easily say being ignorant to this kind of software's ai usesage is the least harmful.

This isn't to excuse this kind of behavior. Trust me, I hate Ai more than the next guy. But discussion around it feels oddly ignorant? Maybe it's best to just write off anything with a scent of ai these days. But I wouldn't even know what im looking at if I was shown an example of vibecoding.

Do we just take people's word for it? It's crazy how often I see people discuss this, but don't even know the difference between a recomp and decomp. I feel we play ignorant to vibecoding in so much software we use nowadays. Do we even know if Bluesky uses vibecoding?

Hosoda apparently directed this episode and it really shows. The animation and emotional levity to all of the shots was excellent. This is an episode that makes me so happy I watched this series. It will go down as one of my all time favorites, no doubt.

holy shit. Easily one of the most beautiful episodes yet. I thought it would go a little deeper and personal, where Hazuki would realize she wants to be more independent. But it stayed a little sweeter and simpler. Still insanely good episode.

The stuff with Doremi and Aiko dancing was really sweet and tied back to earlier episodes. Pretty neeeeat! Aiko needed this win. Some of her episodes fell flat for me.

I do think the plot line with her grandpa was a little forced? It felt the writers needed some justification for her mom wanting to stay in Osaka beyond "I like my job". It added some genuinely misunderstanding between Aiko's parents that gave their remarriage a little more justification, I'd say.

ok this one is a lot better. I think there are still things I would have done differently for Aiko's story with her parents. But this made a lot of sense for her ending. And felt appropriately thematic.

Have I mentioned how much I dislike this animation director? I just feel they have NO idea how to pace a story and just cannot stay on-model with Umakoshi's style. Every single episode they've directed I've disliked. Without fail.

I just dont really get the point of having an entire episode about that. Of course, she wants to prioritize staying with her closest loved ones. I thought this ending would be about that feeling being challenged in some way. It would wrap around this ultimate decision to become a witch or not.

I thought they were gonna connect it to Onpu's decision to switch schools (which they revealed in this same episode) and how she made her decision based on what's best for her future dreams. But it's mainly just her yelling "I LOVE MY PARENTS MORE THAN MY FRIENDS!!"

Poor Momoko... she deserved a better send-off episode. It's another episode by the animation director i do not care for. It's awkwardly paced and very weird looking. Her ultimate decision coming down to "who do you care about more" was lame.

I'm near the end of Ojamajo Doremi, so imma start a thread about these last few episodes. The show sorta finishes its main dilemma about 5 episodes before the finale, so there's this feeling of "what now" with these last few. Feels appropriately down to earth for this series. So spoilers ahead!
