Riding in Rhine-Hessia is like riding a rollercoaster. Small backroads winding up and down through the vineyards, lovely towns and random castles. #motosky #bear650 #royalenfield

I always thought that Indian manufacturers were required to put tires made in India on every bike, but that doesn’t seem to apply to exported motorcycles. It was a pleasant surprise to find out that my Bear was delivered with Pirellis instead of the usual MTRs. #motosky #royalenfield #bear650

The Waldspirale (Forest Spiral) in Darmstadt. Living with and within art. This apartment block was designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser. #motosky #motorcycle #royalenfield #bear650 #art #architecture #darmstadt

An apartment building with a colorful, organic design featuring curved facade lines, soft pink and earth-toned strata, and asymmetrical windows of various shapes. Green trees and a pine branch frame the building on the left, while two parked motorcycles stand at the base near the entrance.

A 'ride-along bench' in rural Hesse, Germany. You sit here, set the sign to your destination, and wait for a friendly driver heading that way to offer you a lift. It's a spontaneous, community-based carpooling system to help folks get around places with limited public transport. #motosky

Hi #motosky, what do we think about the Bear 650? Yay or nay? I had a very fun test ride today, great bike! The shifter placement felt a bit odd at first, but I got used to it pretty fast. Nice engine, not too powerful, but lively and with a nice tone. Great riding position for taller guys.

Made a new Y cable for my heated grips and car play unit. Shrink wrapped everything. Final test. Continuity on „+“. None on „-“. Cursed. Sobbed. Cursed again. Was just about to strip the shrink wrap off when I found out that the battery of the tester had died. Phew! #motosky #motorcycle #vstrom

Great lesson on how not to do it: whoever crimped this cable thought it was a good idea to cram two cables into each side instead of properly slicing the cable. And then there was no more room for the sealing ring. Water crept in and corroded all four cables. #motosky

Kassenärztechef will Krankschreibung in den ersten drei Tagen abschaffen

Found out today that it wasn’t the Garmin power supply that went bad… just the auxiliary power connector. There were two pairs of wire, for GPS and heated grips. When the heated grips stopped working on my last ride, I knew that I had to dig deeper into the wiring. #motosky #motorcycle
