Big tide country! Fishing boat off Parrsboro Nova Scotia. The tidal flow in the deep, 5-kilometre-wide channel equals the combined flow of all the rivers and streams on Earth, estimated at about 4 cubic kilometres per hour.

This foxy fellow was spotted in a farmer’s field, and when I stopped to try to get a shot, he came out to the road and sat for a photo shoot! I’m thinking someone must be feeding him as he was so calm and relaxed, and then began licking his chops like he expected a treat! #wildlife #redfox #fox

Yellow-rumped warbler. It was a very hot day when I shot this. The stump was in the shade, and cool. And cool is what this bird is getting, hugging the stump closely. I’ve photographed squirrels doing this exact behaviour in hot weather too! #birds
