I keep forgetting to share my art (or anything) here so have my latest Elrond, who has bangs because if any elf was to have bangs it would probably be Elrond. #silmarillion #lotr #lordoftherings #silmart

Luthien & Huan, cultivator & her spiritual dog🌾 For the "Cultivation" prompt of #TolkienTrewsday #TolkienTuesday #Tolkien For this piece I mixed Tolkien's fantasy with cultivation novels, a subgenre of xianxian fantasy where characters refine their spiritual energy through martial arts and music🎶

Coloured illustration of Luthien and Huan. They both appear sitting in a green field, with mountains in the background and a pink sky.

Huan appears as a fantastic black and white huge dog. Luthien as a young woman wearing a blue hanfu with her dark hair half up tied with two hair sticks.

She's playing a guqin and there is a beam of light coming out of her right hand and spiralling in the air, symbolizing the spiritual energy of the melody she is playing.

A drawing of Galadriel from last year 💛

A realistic digital painting of Galadriel from Rings of Power. Galadriel is portrayed by Morfydd Clark, a white actor. Portrait is from the waist up in three-quarter. Galadriel is wearing a silver art nouveau style Elven suit of armor with a pearl-inlaid metal star emblazoned on her chest and chain mail peeking out around the edges of her cuirass. Her long blonde hair hangs loose and blowing off her shoulders, highlighted by golden sunlight streaming from her left that casts most of her face in shadow. The background is a gradient of warm gray and deep brown.

Okay, I will start with the #TheRongsOfPower #fanart I made, because I feel like I will never get to it if I wait longer 🫣 #art #digitalart #TROP #Elrond This one got some attention on Twitter (yes, still calling it that), since the official account retweeted it 😅

Digital painting of Elrond (Robert Aramayo) from The Rings Of Power TV show.
He’s looking downwards. This is when Gil-Galad (Benjamin Walker) tells Galadriel (Morfydd Clark, both not pictured) that Elrond will lead the company that is meant to go to Eregion to see if everything is alright.
He’s wearing that very cool glittery tunic.
Dark background, made out of triangles.

i'm never moving on from how perfectly this scene from rings of power encapsulates elrond's character! ♡ in this moment, we witness the revival of his hope and innate compassion; the fact that he's willing to use nenya to save galadriel despite his fear of the rings embodies all that he stands for.

“[Galadriel] lifted up her hand and from the ring that she wore there issued a great light that illuminated her alone and left all else dark. She stood before Frodo seeming now tall beyond measurement, and beautiful beyond enduring, terrible and worshipful.” ‘Love and Despair’

I don’t think female characters have to continue to suffer and be abused to stay interesting and relevant. I have faith trop writers weren’t actually push Galadriel to the side. They always word things horribly in their interviews but I think she’ll still have many meaningful scenes in s3
