Blood on the Clocktower is my absolute favorite game possibly ever. I just dig every nuance of the design, the incredible amount of characters and scripts to play. I wish I could play it with my friends every day.

I want to tell a story about a toy. Tech has always intrigued me. I enjoy buying devices and making them do things they were not built for. Turning old workstations into arcade/retro gaming machines, for example. When I bought an ASUS ROG Ally X, I never imagined what I would end up doing with it.

I'd say that portable Windows 98/95/3.1/DOS machine project is coming along nicely. There are some definite drawbacks to using the GPD Win 2 for this, but I'm still having fun.

Tumblr post from dracofidus: If you EVER think Anthony Head is anything less than an angel then you'd best remember that I have always been a huge fan of his and we've always had a little contact over the years and he heard I'd come out as Trans and was having a hard time and that I was kind of sad that the photos I had from conventions with him were of me with long hair and no binder and they were all signed to "Sarah" and so he invited me to spend the day with him at his farm and he picked me up from the station and we just hung out and had lunch and he insisted on paying and look loads of photos and had them printed on photo paper the same day so he could sign them to Jay, along with other photos of him as Giles and Utger and he literally spent five hours chatting with me and got all the pronoun stuff right every time and then he dropped me off at the station, gave me a massive hug. Waved me through the ticket barrier and insisted I message him when I got home so he knew I was back safe.

Spent the last three weeks building my own Steam Machine console out of a used crypto-mining blade, a 3D-printed case, a flex power supply, 3 90-degree USB adapters, a USB hub, and a power switch. This is a more advanced build than I usually go for, but this was one of my favorite projects ever.

Just another day, chilling, hacking my PS4, you know how it is.

My old PS4, sitting on my computer desk, a little scuffed and scratched, but otherwise in good condition. It was still on firmware 5.05, which appears to be considered the most stable for hacking.

First thing, very first thing I did was put Doom on it. This is a screenshot of Doom's first level on my desk's widescreen TV.

Next I downloaded and installed Half-Life Blue Shift from the Homebrew Store, and it works like a dream. This is a screenshot of the game shortly after the alien attack.

I played and beat Fable III this week, and I wondered why I was emotional when it ended - the story's alright but not tears-worthy - and it occurs to me that I had been playing as a government leader who genuinely cared about her people. I haven't experienced that in some time.
