Another reason to have a built-in task scheduler in Transmit is so tasks can be triggered even when Transmit is busy with a previous task, which isn't currently possible with Automator and iCal.
And, maybe this goes without saying, but if we build a scheduler into Transmit, it should be able to do regular uploading and downloading in addition to synchronizing.

Would be nice to be able to schedule anything in Transmit, including series of tasks such as renaming a local file, and then uploading it.
Obviously doing all of this will be somewhat redundant with our existing AppleScript and Automator support, but I'm hoping the benefit will be easier, more flexible, and less intrusive scheduling that more people will actually use.
