I already have an original ROG Ally X, and thanks to the decision to replace Windows with Bazzite, the experience is truly amazing. I'll still continue to use my Steam Deck OLED for less demanding games, but the Ally X is excellent for titles that really struggle on the Deck...

Four days to go... just as well I rushed back from Beagle Point to acquire this bad boy!

It's been SIX years since I got all of the days I requested over the festive period approved. Typically, I'm lucky if I get three or maybe four days, so looking forward to some extended gaming sessions!

Got some good news: I have all of the Christmas holidays I asked for approved, so should finish up on the 18th of December, and then not due back to work until the 5th of January!

Been browsing Etsy for Mass Effect-related stuff to decorate the new gaming room, and came across this wee masterpiece... #MassEffect

I'm guessing the developers of #EliteDangerous got fed up naming all of those space stations, as this one was a bit of a mouthful... no pun intended!

Will be moving home within the next couple of months, so was looking for some stuff to add some personality to the new place. Was considering Etsy for some more "unusual" items, but I'll have a look nearer the time.

It's been ages since I last visited Etsy, but after your recent discovery I'm not sure I'd want to access this website!

Well, it's currently gathering dust as I have two other handhelds that I use more often. Not sure how much it'll cost for shipping though.

It's a pity you don't live near me, as I have a spare Lenovo Legion Go handheld that plays Mass Effect Legendary Edition wonderfully. I removed Windows and replaced it with Bazzite, so it now runs like a big Steam Deck...

I have ME:LE on both of my XBOX consoles and have never had any issues. But knowing EA, I'm not surprised by this nonsense, as I've had similar problems with my physical copy of ME1 on PC that required me to contact EA directly. Switched to the Steam version and all that EA bullshit was fixed.

I'm assuming they've decided to change to digital-only after Sony decided to cease future disc production. Also, it totally screws up the second-hand market as well. My PS5 Pro has an optical drive, and will STILL continue to buy physical media, especially older PS4 titles.

Only ordered two copies: one for me and one as a birthday present. It's a total pain that the so-called physical copy is only a download code in a case!

That's about 99% of the painting done, and remarkably both coats of paint were applied over just the weekend! Was expecting this job to take the better part of a week, but I'm really impressed with the workmanship. It'll be at least another month or so before the flooring gets put down...

I had ordered an LG C4 OLED from Amazon, but this definitely appears to be a newer C5, at least according to the packaging. Won't be unpacking this bad boy until after I move home anyway...

Big same. Just because I'm trans and gay, it doesn't give permission to other trans lesbians to send this to me unsolicited. I've had to block SO MANY trans femmes on Discord for just sending me nudes unprompted and without consent. It's gross behavior no matter who you are.

I suspect if an alien spaceship made a brief visit to our planet, they'd probably come to the conclusion that the only way for Earth and the majority of it's lifeforms to survive is to sacrifice Humanity. Considering the untold damage done over the centuries, I think it's well overdue.

This will hopefully be the last time I move. The place is in a nice area, not far from a big park. It's also a wee bit closer to my place of work, but will have lots of room while working from home. In a little over two years, I'll be hitting 60 and might switch to part-time working.

I'll probably be in the office on the 18th, and if I am I'll certainly be too tired to watch it in the evening. I do have the 21st and 22nd of December as annual leave, but really hoping to have the rest of the festive period off. Who knows, I may see Doomsday more than once!

This is really weird... Just found out that the UK cut of #EndgameEncore DOESN'T include the TVA post-credit scene. It's such a pivotal moment that I'm at a loss why it wasn't included. Maybe it was because not many people have seen the Loki TV series here, but I have my doubts...
