I made a new shelftalker for Gokurakugai! I tried to draw the fonts for DanDaDan, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Gachiakuta but dang it was hard. Messed up on Gokurakugai a couple times 😅 Sold a Gokurakugai shortly after making this! #manga #Gokurakugai

Of course I got a new book when I'm supposed to be culling! MINBAK, by Ela Lee, is a dual timeline historical/litfic set in 1985 South Korea and 2008 London. It features Hana Park, who's our main character in 1985; her mother, Youngja, who runs her family's minbak; and Ada, Hana's daughter.

MINBAK, by Ela Lee. Half the cover is white and half yellow with what looks like slate blue-grey and vibrant purple folded paper between. The purple is the folded corner. On the topmost fold is a woman's eye. Coming out of the bottom fold ida burst of flowers but I'm not sure what the flowers are. The flowers are a beautiful peachy color.
This is an advanced reading copy and the book comes out February 2027 from St. Martin's Press.

I called my dad to tell him about Dungeon Crawler Carl, by Matt Dinniman My dad's name is Carl. When I was a kid, we had a cat named Donut. She was a fat grey tortoiseshell, but Donut all the same.

Got a cute tumbler from Scholastic! So I decided to put some GreenMan Yam and Mixed Cereal in it and just drink it with a straw 😅 IT'S REALLY GOOD. I don't know what the writing says but there's English on the back so I read that before paying like $5 for a giant bag a while back.

I was able to get some fresh fruit! And cheese! Strawberries and grapes were on sale. Devoured some grapes because it's been an absurdly long time since I've had fruit w cheese I also was able to get some cocoa powder to make chocolate cookies my kid wants to try. 🥹 Thank you all for your kindness 💖

MARS is getting an anniversary edition! Hardcover! Foil! I love this early 2000s manga SO MUCH. I've already reviewed it and emailed my rep about it. June 2026!!

Went to Five Below to get my spicy chicken wonton ramen because that's the only place to get it. They had mystery bags of One Piece star-shaped keychains. I really wanted one specific character. There were 2 bags. So I got them because it was like 15$ for those and 2 ramen. I GOT ZORO. I GOT HIM.
