It’s embarrassing how often Jagex cancels a feature or a release after having committed to a date. Imagine actually announcing a date and then doing the thing on that date.

Anyone here in Belgium, preferably Limburg province in a hiring decision position in a software and/or hardware engineering company? I’m urgently looking for a new job and I’m getting ghosted left and right. I have about 5 years of software, firmware, and hardware experience and would love to chat.

All LLM output is slop. "But I vetted the output!" Given that you use LLMs in the first place is proof enough that you do not have the critical thinking skills to differentiate between slop and non-slop. It's slop, and even worse, people like you are trying to disguise slop, and that's even worse.

“AI’s are proving PhD+ level maths problems!” Ok cool, were they problems that were considered particularly difficult or important though? Or just a synthesis of existing solved problems that nobody bothered to do because the problem wasn’t important? Call me when they solve a milennium problem.

I keep wondering what it will take for Americans to actually stand up for their rights. I keep edging closer to the conclusion, “They won’t, they’re just going to keep taking it while being very loud online about their RiGhTs.”

What do you even do when the depression gets super bad, the meds stop working, and the nearest available appointment with your psychiatrist is 2 months away?

I don’t like that drow have turned purple over the years, but I understand why dropping the monochromatic skin couldn’t survive in the US. Anyway here’s the Fae in my pfp in its drow form! (Second Life screenshot with minimal editing.)

Not aimed at anyone in particular, but: Never let anyone shame you for enjoying the things you do as long as they don’t harm anyone. Kink, hobby, habit, all valid. Your brain’s good chemicals are the only justification you need.

@theonion.com Hey, you guys have the uncanny ability to predict the future with your articles, can you satirize a positive future please?

Are there any good fantasy settings where demons aren't evil? Either straight up good, or with complex/alien morality like Fae. I could do with a good non-depressing novel to sink myself into during these depressing times. #fantasy

Sometimes I wish I could just hop to a different timeline. This one is broken.

Can someone recommend a high fantasy novel series that’s mostly feel-good? Some romance would be nice.
