I went to the Obama Center today and it looks a bit better in person than pictures and videos represent it. The building itself looks smaller when near it and the landscaping definitely helps soften the imposing museum space. That speech written on it still is extra silly.

Last night’s cake. This was a stunner! It was inspired by my recent trip to Detroit. We had dinner at Vecino, which was amazing. For dessert we ate a chocolate mousse with salsa macha. This is a black chocolate cake with salsa macha caramel filling and tomato leaf buttercream.
