They went away for a while... I think only the bigger warehouse style ones have them now

My local Bunnings still has an old school cut shop. Fantastic because I wasn't looking forward to cutting 28x 600mm lengths of wood for battens to hang my photos for the exhibition. One less thing to do...

A photo of an operator in a high vis vest standing at a commercial sized wood cutter next up a large "Bunnings" green corrugated shed wall.
Over the top is a big vinyl sign that says "Cut Shop"

You're the second person to mention Ground News this week. I've never heard of it but the concept is interesting.

Cutie Patootie of the week! 😻 After a couple of weeks' break from posting socials at the shelter, I'm back baby! Larissa definitely lives up to her nickname of Smooch. What a darling. 🥰 #ShelterCatFriday

The risk I have is that I will end up on my phone wanting to find out if the buildings are still around, where they are located, and then adding them to my "interesting architecture" list of places to visit in Google maps 😂

Just started watching Spy/Master about a KGB agent working undercover as the right hand man to Ceaușescu in Romania, trying to defect to the US after his cover is blown.

The flatness of the path between the trees looks unnatural and is interesting. In a good way. 👌

I shot a good deal of digital photography when I was out west this past week. Also, the 24-120 f4 Nikon lens is incredibly sharp and has great color for a travel lens.

One of my colleagues who lives in another state just asked what time the sunrises in Western Australia. Depending on where you live in the state, at the moment, it's anywhere from 5.02am to 5.45am 🙃😂

I get the intent as a way to trace digital agents back to the source of they fuck up. But yeh, why we need that in the first place is fkd.

I just picked up a second vinyl copy of this album. Accidentally on purpose. I figured I could give the second copy to my brother. Turns out he also has two copies on vinyl. 😂 Runs in the family.

Socialism exists outside of this one political party. I don't need to live in the US to understand socialism. What's going on here is that you are using DSA and socialism interchangeably when they are, in fact, not the same. 🙃

Oh the park brake is the best 😂 This film will always remind me of my dad. He just adored it when it first came out. We also owned it on VHS.
