chelsea hired me as an intern and basically started my career. when I had to take two emergency weeks off due to my health, she supported me and helped me finish out my internship, which I've never forgotten. she's been a mentor and friend since, and has helped countless careers flourish

literally idk what to say about Petrana — we came to Polygon together in 2018 as interns, and since then, I've been so proud to see her continue writing some of the funniest, fandom knowledgeable, and touching criticism online. she's an amazing writer and I'm so happy that we are friends :')

By now you've probably heard the news: Polygon has been sold to Valnet and I, along with most of my wonderful colleagues, have been laid off. That said, I'm now open to new opportunities! If you've enjoyed my work and would like to work together in any capacity, please feel to hit me up via my DMs!

ana has done incredible work at Polygon — she's done culture coverage, games coverage, guides, and brought light to a lot of stories that simply don't get covered elsewhere. I am grateful for the time that we spent working together and you should absolutely hire her ASAP

Julia will never say this so I’ll say it for her: when I worked for Polygon, she was responsible for not just the biggest Polygon article, but the NUMBER 1 MOST CLICKED ARTICLE ON ALL OF VOX MEDIA. She was single-handedly paying all of our salaries. Hire Julia.

julia writes the best guides, something I say not only as a friend but as someone who is too dumb to play video games. her guides havecarried me through genshin impact/ff7 rebirth/tears of the kingdom/tons of stuff. legit cannot overstate how good she is at this. you should hire her immediately

Woke up in a lovely bed and breakfast today on a lovely vacation to find out a place I've loved to work for just over a decade has been dismembered in minutes. Just wanted to join the chorus to say that I've been let go from Vox Media on May Day, along with a great team doing great stuff.

Along with just about everyone else at Polygon, I am now out of a job, ending over a decade at Vox Media for me. Working at Polygon was a wonderful experience, and I'm proud of the work we did there. I will be looking for work, as well as starting my own project(s) on the side. Stay tuned!

Hi #BluePitHype! I'm Petrana and I'm a journalist by day, writer of everything else by night. I love to write SFF and romance! I've been writing fiction ever since I took a practice standardized essay test in third grade and decided I'd just create a fake life instead of writing about myself. 😘
