Rise continues, and more rain on the way today. Line midgraph is when I could wade a riffle on the Canadian River to cross, ca. 10 cfs. Now about 135 cfs.

So on the 27th and 28th I was able to wade a riffle to the other side not quite up to knee. Today is back up to 100 cfs levels. Responsive watershed!

Rain delay in the hunt field, woke this AM at 1:30 to rain, drove the pre-loaded car out of the canyon, tried to sleep on roadside. Back at casa I see rain forecast reliably today and Wed. Was raining all the way back esp. SF and Abq.

Some excellent rain in SE Colorado overnight. 2-3"+ of rain for much of Baca/Prowers/Otero/Bent/eastern Las Animas and Kiowa Counties. Borderline drought buster here. Great news! #COwx

Short of two weeks going back here, curious to see what the monsoon rains will do for the veg. Fortunately the roads are mainly rocky, save in the canyon bottom. Kiowa National Grassland, Canadian River Canyon, Mills Campground.

I call it the antifa phenomena. By going full fascist, Trump has successfully mobilized almost everyone in the entire country against him. We're laser focused on one objective. Stripping power from him and his party. People who weren't even into politics are now involved, informed and hopping mad.

Went to Kiowa National Grasslands last couple days, camping. Canadian River incised deep canyon in the High Plains. Lovely scenery. Accessed via town of Roy, NM., with some unique murals. US Forest Service managed.
