Every year, French caretakers collect sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub the grains into the letters to give them a gold coloring. Well, we lost another icon today. Robert Duvall has passed away at age 95. He portrayed hundreds of amazing characters over his career but for me, he will live in perpetuity as Tom Hagen, Boss Spearman, Mac Sledge, Boo Radley, Bull Meechum and Lt. Col. Kilgore. Rest in peace my friend.
