Ideally, the number of rides should be around 12 (including dark rides, coasters, flat rides, transport rides, etc). Not even Epcot hits that number but the amount of big indoor rides help.

I think Tropical Americas will be a nice land and will have bigger draws for the IP than Dinoland did… but that said, it’s not much of an expansion for the park. DAK is pushing 30 years and still has only nine rides once that expansion is done (and that’s including the carousel and railroad).

In no way is Animal Kingdom worth nearly $200 in its current state. Not while it’s operating from 8AM-6PM most days and still has Tropical Americas behind walls. I’d bet DAK sells the least single day tickets out of all four parks, but that’s not really the point is it? It’s perception of value.

There are plenty of parks with sizable parking lots in the US. If they are not going to convert to parking garages (maybe not suitable for regional amusement parks), this is a perfectly fine alternative.
