Yesterday marked the last day of my first year as a professor! Whew, what a whirlwind. But it’s been so rewarding! This is my Plant ID final—100 plant species for the students to identify. They did so well! I’m so grateful for such an amazing botany class 🌿 #iamabotanist #botanyprofessor

We counted 49 species from 24 families this year 😌 🌱 #plantsgiving Made this pie chart with #ChatGPT bc I’m too lazy after eating so much 😂
Pie chart illustrating the distribution of species in different families. Poaceae (12%), Apiaceae (10.2%) and Rosaceae (8.2%) had the most species.
