There are valid criticisms of Batman’s approach to crime—especially since he’s rich. What I love about Absolute Batman, written by @ssnyder1835.bsky.social, is that the series captures what fans love most about the character. It isn’t the money, but the tenacity of fighting for a better tomorrow.

I know a lot of comic readers prefer physical copies, but I enjoy reading comics on a screen so I can crank up that brightness and feel immersed. “Kali,” published by @darkhorse.com is such a good example. Robert Sammelin’s art is such a rush and reading it on a screen was such a joy. #comicbooks

I just read my copy of the comics criticism newspaper, “The Comics Courier,” and ‘wow’ did @explodingarrow.bsky.social and the team of contributors put together an experience that is equally nostalgic and innovative. As a believer that comics deserve to being taken seriously, this was a delight!

I picked up “Over My Dead Body,” written & illustrated by @sweeneyboo.bsky.social, and enjoyed this whimsical story about a group of students at a school of magic looking for their lost friend. It’s visually stunning, engaging, and a reminder of how indie comics never cease to be unique.
