I'm so fed up with this that I really am tempted to accept a project I don't want just to get away from this. 3 weeks to review code is NOT normal anywhere. Constantly going back on decisions & asking for another change is not normal either. Worst part is that I feel I'm the asshole. ADHD sucks

Ah yes, hearing jokes bc I complained to the manager that it's been 3 weeks I've been blocked, and I ask for his support to get it moving again. How dare I to try to remove the blockers to do my work? Ironic, considering the manager clearly went and complained to someone else... 😒

The fucked up thing is that I'm pretty sure my manager agrees with me and even feels bad that is the case, because whenever I ask him go do anything, he seems to drop everything to do it right away, much faster than I even expect. But get other ppl in the team to do what they should be doing nah...

Saw an ad on the London underground that said "like your code, this too was written by AI". Yeah, here's the difference. Code is deterministic. There are right and wrong answers that can be verified with automated tests. Creative industries (including ads) are subjective. AI is the wrong tool!

The thing you learn after living in the UK for a few years is that if you have an off-peak ticket and your train is just 20 minutes later, but there's a train right now to the same location, you get in. You never know which trains might get cancelled and you'd end up screwed for hours.

I joke, but I might actually try this. Issue #1 has very little superhero stuff, and lots of sci-fi elements. You could essentially see it as The Fly or Hollow Man, where an experiment goes wrong... and 1/3 of the population of the isle of wight melts to a goo, while a few others gain superpowers
