What's most problematic is that this just seems like a sort of Hangul-inspired cipher for English. I would of course love if they made a full conlang (perhaps inspired by the languages of cultures they pull from), but this ain't that! This is worse than appropriating Chinese.

I remember listening to astronaut Victor Glover describing this scene on the live stream. After hours of giving very poetic and detailed descriptions of the moon’s surface, he was completely dumbfounded at this point and just said it looked “sci-fi.” and yeah no he was right.
