I mean the OP here is confused and its easily refuted by historic timeline. He may be thinking Lenin is also Marx who was inspired by the Parris communes. But Marx was dead before even the anti Tsarist coalitions began to form, and initially those were not communist blocks. It took a long time

Marx did occasionally speak of Russia, but it certainly wasnt a top target or anything. It sounds like hes conflating Marx with Lenin or something. From what ive read Marx had more to say about America than Russia - and that makes sense since the US was going through its own civil war at the time.

I can tell we have a ways to go with class consciousness because my coworker asked someone "Whats Imperialism? Isnt that like what the British did?" I wanted to shout something about reading Lenin, but i didnt want to cause a scene. I probably should have though.
