I've been doing a Region Locked Elden Ring run for funsies, using the Dryleaf weapons only (for more funsies) and man, Fire Giant can do one. How the FUCK did I get him so fast RL1? I think I got lucky that time and never really learned the fight, and now struggle every time

I'm limiting spirit ashes to non-weapon-havers. This means so far I've got the wolves, Stormhawk Deenh, rot dog, lil flowers, putrid corpses, jellywife and the land squirts. I'll be honest, the squirts put in a SHIFT, good HP, poison damage, great aggro sponge

My Elden Ring region locked run is going swimmingly! The Dryleaf weapons are really fun, and the Palm Blast special makes up for a lot of the limits. I got Caelid finished off today, Radahn was fine, but Decaying Ezyzyzyzyzkes was the real problem, rot dragon on a melee build.. ooof

Tried REPO tonight, and it was very funny and also pant shittingly terrifying. I had to finish a level solo, with a mekon and a giant clown thing hunting me in a castle. The last item was an orb that turned my camera into my own face, making movement IMPOSSIBLE. Good game, will play again.

Sticking points so far have been Ulcerated Tree Spirit at the start, the Bell Bearing Hunter and the Crucible Knight in the Evergaol. Doing those with a +3 weapon and five basic flasks was WOOF
