Today I've been with Laura for 22 years! Here's possibly the first photo we were ever in together (about two weeks before we became A Thing, on a Uni trip to Alton Towers! Also included, maybe the best photo we've ever had, I'm mugging it up and shes annoyed at me, actual poetry

My Elden Ring region locked run is going swimmingly! The Dryleaf weapons are really fun, and the Palm Blast special makes up for a lot of the limits. I got Caelid finished off today, Radahn was fine, but Decaying Ezyzyzyzyzkes was the real problem, rot dragon on a melee build.. ooof

Got back pin BALLXPIT tonight, that game still has The Sauce. Excited to find all the combos for the horrifying flesh ball

So after falling for Angine De Poitrine from that KEXP show, I've tried a few other random sets out, and it turns out, lotta bangers in there. This set by Bruses is fucking phenomenal. youtu.be/NgRyFcyFDyE?...

Tried REPO tonight, and it was very funny and also pant shittingly terrifying. I had to finish a level solo, with a mekon and a giant clown thing hunting me in a castle. The last item was an orb that turned my camera into my own face, making movement IMPOSSIBLE. Good game, will play again.

So i got the itch for Elden Ring again, as its been ages, so I'm trying a region locked all bosses thing. I [very legitimately] got the Dryleaf arts for my only weapon, and running through with locks on how much estus and smithy stones you can find is neat!

I salvaged a helbrute! Thank you pal Andy for the torso from your folder of dubious stl files

My scratch built gaming terrain is coming on wonderfully, although i did gas myself out last night with the spray can

So i live in Portsmouth, where the recent gammon small boat "protest" happened, and this morning there is the father of the bride of the worst wedding you've ever been to waving a flag near my home. Great.

Man that Lego PS1 is a bit sexy, isn't it?

Spent my evening turning a bunch of disposable camera bodies into terrain greebles for my 40k / Kill Team terrain! I got electric shocked five times!

Violet painted this guy today, he's a Bubblegum Marine! The dark spots are "fun little polka dots" :D

Orks are getting there, almost finished my Krew!

Paddy @paddystardust.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

I will not be buying that Tarnished edition upgrade for Elden Ring, four quid for horse skins and a couple of armor sets can eat my butt.

Paddy @paddystardust.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

I'm getting cautiously optimistic for Stage Tour, seems like a proper throwback (complementary), as long as the tracklist delivers I think I'm sold.

Read a bit about Duskbloods, and I know this is rich as someone without a Switch 2, but nah, not for me I don't think. Zork is a fucking cool name though.

Made my own Kill Team Volkus terrain today, because i have the technology (glue gun, foam board, stanley knife, obsessively researched dimensions)

Paddy @paddystardust.bsky.social · 07/08/2026

My first Warhammer Kill Team is finished! Seven Plague Marines, yet to be named properly, fully painted up and ready for the table. I'm bloody proud of these, been a real labour of love the last few nights :)

Paddy @paddystardust.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

I'm sorry, i think I'm a Warhammer guy now. I'm painting and playing kill team. I'm watching paint videos. I'm reading The Horus Heresy. Only took 40 years but it finally got me

Paddy @paddystardust.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

This is my first proper Warhammer figure almost finished! This nasty Plague Marine is going really really well, he shall make Nurgle proud

Paddy @paddystardust.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

I played some introductory Kill Team with Laura tonight! We ran through the tutorial missions in the starter set, and her Angels of Death thoroughly stomped my Plague Marines to bits. Had fun though!

Mini painting progress! The little axe tracker went really well, and I'm getting somewhere with big Vincent over there. I think i need to do something about print lines the next time i 3D print something to paint, but you live and learn

Paddy @paddystardust.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

I painted a bunch of Dwarves tonight, for the board game The Dwarves, based on the book The Dwarves. Dwarves.

Paddy @paddystardust.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

I actually finally played The Silver Bayonet tonight! Solo scenario, using Hellboy minis instead of napoleonic era soldiers, thematically fit really well. I even won with MINIMAL casualties!

In the spirit of Jeremy the chaos goblin, please enjoy this very very good clip of the time he decided to just bail mid hunt. I go back to this every month or too, always gets me :)

091

Paddy @paddystardust.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

A year to the day, and I still think about Jeremy every day. I miss playing weirdo games together, I miss talking horseshit all day. I miss hearing about the latest horse drama. I count him as one of my best friends, and the space in my life he used to occupy still feels so very empty. Love you, bud
