Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Went to see that there Digger film last night. I actually quite liked it. In the interests of tearing and sharing, fuller thoughts below. Feel free to agree or call me a stupid arsehole (although I’d probably prefer it if you didn’t). boxd.it/gEL9vTboxd.itA ★★★★ review of Digger (2026)I actually quite liked this. A few thoughts... It’s not as clever as it liked to think it is, but the themes do resonate and you do reflect on what you’ve seen for some time after. The meta aspects we... 150

Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Check out this video my Mum shared with me containing foxes playing in her garden. At one point early on, one grabs a kids’ ball and runs off with it. Kinda cute. 230
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 03/10/2026That was the one with Seven on, right? I loved that song; so good. Used to have it on 7” which had an amazing acoustic version - it was majestic. Alas, a then-housemate stood on it and snapped it, and I’ve never been able to source it since, even in this digital age. 100
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I dunno. It’s a shame they couldn’t get Eisenberg back but I suspect it’ll be quite compelling, what with all Meta’s dubious antics and efforts to enhance addiction to their online platforms. 000
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Soooo good. Aaron Sorkin’s dialogue is incredibly (re)watchable. 110
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Yep, that might be a can of worms it would be unwise to open. I still unapologetically buy shitloads of films, which came in very useful t’other day when the WiFi crashed whilst watching The Social Network. Grabbed the disc - problem solved. 100
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 03/10/2026One of my proudest achievements in life is successfully teaching my daughter how to pronounce Mr Mxyzptlk. Nails it every time. 011
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Fair play. I’m always reminded of the line from Fight Club about the things you own ending up owning you. That said, my efforts to buy less shit fail more often than not, alas. 110
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I know. It’s hilarious. Talk about so far into denial they’ve lost all objectivity (and credibility). 010
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Can’t believe they’re making clothes exclusively for heterosexual people in this day and age… 020

Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I used to game wholeheartedly. I was one of those who got 100% on the first Crash Bandicoot game back in the day (to unlock the secret ending). For reasons I can’t even explain to myself, I’ve never quite been so in as I was, but if the right game comes along, I’m sure I can relight the spark. 100
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I saw a trailer at the cinema t’other day and it got me tempted, and I’m a very lapsed gamer with a PS5 essentially gathering dust. 100
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Hope it’s not too bad, mate. Sending positive vibes. 110
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 02/10/2026First read of the Hickman Avengers stuff? It’s gooood. 010
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 02/10/2026“How did World War III start, Dad?” “Well, son, it all started when the Premier League found Manchester City guilty of 114 breaches of financial regulations.” “But didn’t Man City become genuine contenders and end the big five’s previous domination?” “Shut up and eat your irradiated Huel.” 120
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I always enjoy it when they come from behind and win during the climax after previously looking weakened and limp. Like in Rocky IV. 110

Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 01/10/2026That’s the last time I confide in you about my enjoyment of slow and tender lovemaking with primates. You and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons are so bloody judgemental. And they ruined my career. Swines. The lot of you. 110
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Well, Martin, what did you expect? I told you that in confidence. Fucksake. 110

Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I * think * that’s inside industry talk for hand moisturiser. Handling parcels all day really does cause chapped hands and whatnot, according to my mate down the pub. 120
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 01/10/2026SO THAT’S WHY YOU NEVER WRITE BACK!!! (And, yes, asking for your pants was probably a bit much, but the heart wants what the heart wants 🤷♂️). 110
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Lucky it got there at all, to be honest, mate, what with all that scribble over what I assume is the address. 230
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Is it weird if someone finds the close cropped hair (female) goalkeeper off of Ted Lasso hot as fuck? Asking for a friend. 120
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Excellent description but I do think a decent writer could come up with something we haven’t seen before… 011

Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 27/09/2026😬 (Just replied to other post, bit you should maybe give the Reeves version at least a bit of a view for a sense of the vibe - for me in the cinema it was flawed, but obviously made with love, if you know what I mean). 010
Pablo Tiley @pablo-tiley.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Fair enough. For me, the reinvention of Gotham as summat that might be from a Michael Mann film, and Murphy’s Scarecrow / Ledger’s Joker really resonated, but I understand the criticisms. I quite liked Snyder’s aesthetic for the character but he very much missed the point of the character, imho. 010
