Good morning Bluesky 👋🏼 🦋 Web Dev / Dev tools tip 🔥 Did you know there is a 'changes' tab in the browser dev tools? It keeps track of changes that you make and presents it in git style diff UI. You can even copy changes when you're finished! 🤯 Never lose those unknown CSS changes again 🎉

A short video I did was featured today on Daniel Glejzner's angularchristmascalendar.com showing off a couple Tooling features you might have missed in #Angular #v19 as well as reflecting on the state of the framework and where we're going from here. I'm #10, the snowman. Give it a watch!

✨ My CSS files now look slightly different than before, and I love the changes!
The image shows a CSS code snippet using `@import` and `@layer` to organize styles into layers (`reset`, `base`, and `components`). Two CSS files are imported: `"../../src/reset.css"` is assigned to the `reset` layer, and `"../../src/base.css"` is assigned to the `base` layer. The `base` layer contains a `:root` selector that globally sets `color` to `canvasText` and `background-color` to `canvas`, ensuring consistency with system themes. Additionally, an empty `components` layer is defined, presumably to hold component-specific styles later.

Thanks for this video, @deborahkurata.bsky.social. The flow chart at the end is excellent, and I'll refer to it (and suggest it) often.
Flowchart of what Angular signals approach one should use.
Do you need to react to signal changes? If not, use a regular function. If so...
Do you set a readonly signal? If so, use computed(). If not...
Do you set a writeable signal? Is so, use linkedSignal(). If not...
Do you perform an async operation? If so, use resource() or rxResource(). If not...
Use effect().
