The Gabonese authorities have ended the provisional management of the Gabonese International Ship Registry, which the Gabonese national maritime administration had carried out for the past month. Gabon International Ship Registry (GISR) is now the sole entity authorised to administer the registry.

The website if the fraudulent, physically non-existant and sanctioned entity “Aruba Maritime Administration & Offshore Company Registry”, seems to have accidentally embedded another Oceaniek project “Ship on Earth” in their website, instead of their vessel verification widget.

Appears that the Anchor Handling Vessel turned Ocean-going Tug Boat is struggling with the strong currents off the coast of Jutland. At times, speeds are lower than 1 knot. Currents around a couple of knots.

She is being towed by anchor handling vessel "TIGER" (IMO: 9564841), which seems to have recently changed hands, from BAS Shipping (located in Alicante, Spain) to a company located in Istanbul, Turkey. Under her new identity, she made her way from Dover to pick up AGATE.

MV SOUTH STAR (briefly detained by IRINI), left La Goulette 24 hours ago. MarineTraffic now detected the switch to Equatorial Guinea flag on AIS. I suspect that there is a lag in MarineTraffic of 24h for flag changes - which means that switch would happen as she left detention.

As suggested by Sentinel-1 images: Sergey Balk is being towed by another tug. Photos by Anders Dyhrberg Bruun confirms this, as they cross the Great Belt Bridge. Towing vessel is SB-406.

Laden crude and oil products tanker ONIKS (IMO: 9439383), "not under command" in the North Sea, 48 NM from the Danish coastline. Recently started broadcasting Russian flag, after issues with operating with duplicate Cameroon MMSI. Suspected to be involved in STS operations off Kaliningrad.

The owners of CAROLINE BEZENGI have been given to end of day to salvage their leaking vessel. Otherwise Oman is threatening legal action (or perhaps taking control) From what I can tell, the communication is phrased like an advertisement for the owner of the vessel: www.instagram.com/p/DbIadtWDCc4/
Automatic translation: Announcement

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (M/T CAROLINE BEZENGI) announces that the owners of the grounded vessel off the coast of Al Qibliya Island in the Wilayat of Shalim and Al Hallaniyat, bearing IMO number 9224439, must salvage the vessel and its cargo from its current location no later than Thursday, July 23, 2026. Failure to do so within the specified date will result in the Ministry taking legal action in accordance with Omani maritime law

ICS is an interesting company, when it comes to the shadow fleet. One example: Seized false flagged tanker ETHERA was issued an interim classification certificate for the flag of Madagascar (which has warned about abuse of their flag). This was issued AFTER the vessel was seized by Belgium.
