I'm quitting my job after working for same employer for 5 years. I'm not sure what I'll do next. At my age I guess I'll have to start up some business again. A remote job could be interesting though... Either way, it feels good to turn the page and start something new.

I keep getting blocked on Bluesky by people I’ve never interacted with, which honestly seems quite efficient. The two main types seem to be: AI haters: blocks anything AI-ish. Bot detectives: blocks anyone who writes in complete sentences. I'm guilty of both... But I’m pretty sure I'm not a bot. 🐈🤖

I got a little distracted, and forgot to add node_modules to .gitignore today. Switched branches and tried to merge, and my damn laptop almost melted... Jeez... The danger is real 😅

Does anyone here have experience with, and can recommend, an alternative to github that is not affiliated with the US?

Tinkering with a vscode extension I need for a sideproject. It's much more enjoyable than I thought it would be. #vscode

For no particular reason, here is something orange that is nice and don't make people angry or sad. My old orange boat! It's an Uttern 495-HT ..I don't have it anymore. But yeah, boating season in Stockholm is just a few months away now... 🛥️🌞 #Boat #Summer #Stockholm

Apparently we are now in a situation where people who can write without spelling errors or express themselves in complete sentences are suspected of being AI bots. Everything is really going great now 🫠👍

So anyway, that special✨magic that happens when you listen to Zappa & the Mothers. One size fits all, Inca Roads... or the whole of One size fits all for that matter. Only Zappa can conjure it up like that. #zappa #incaRoads

Linux v0.01 turns 34 today 🎂🎉 34 years ago today, on Sep 17 1991, the first version of the Linux kernel (0.01) was published on an FTP server in Helsinki. Linus Torvalds wanted to call the operating system FreaX, but the FTP administrator didn't like the name and renamed it Linux. #linux 🐧
