With the aggressive cancer diagnosis I was given a choice-amputation or flap surgery to rebuild her leg after removing a good chunk of the soft tissue-a very long process-3 major surgeries-400 staples-we succeeded but the whole experience ultimately was too much on her heart. She passed in emergency

Mine passed away in 2018 from cardiac arrest after a year-long cancer care. I still grieve for that girl. The First 2 years are the hardest as they have “puppy brain” in a very strong dog but after I got her walking perfectly on leash she became my total joy. I had her in agility classes as well.
