South Lake, WWT Slimbridge this morning - a Cormorant trying to swallow a large Eel and 2 Knot. One of several Pintail on site, Snipe are still around in good numbers, this was one of 10+ on the Rushy. Also on the Rushy were 3 Greenshank & 9 Spotted Redshank. @wwtsightings.bsky.social #GlosBirds

Rushy hide at WWT Slimbridge today - 1 Great Egret, 3 Greenshank, 1 Wood Sandpiper briefly, 6+ Snipe, 2 Pintail and 2 Green Sandpiper. 6+ Willow Emerald damselfly seen around the site. Flyby of Zeiss hide by 3 Glossy Ibis at 3:40 pm, they carried on down river. #GlosBirds @wwtsightings.bsky.social

Coombe Hill Meadows Glos. today - 20+ Migrant Hawker (one pair being harassed by a Willow Emerald Damselfly), unfortunately one of the females was caught and eaten by a Moorhen! There were at least 15 Willow Emerald Damselfly including at least two teneral. @britishdragonflies.bsky.social
