Qifrey has fought tooth & nail to be gentle, despite. (only in 94 does he finally recognize/accept he *is* giving others the warmth & care Olly gave him) but that traumatized, desperate child who lashes out is always near. we only need to look at his interactions with Beldaruit:

I just think it’s funny that this is a panel in witch hat atelier and it’s like, this is so domestic — it’s literally how you’d look at your lover or child’s injuries — also how Olruggio is being touched with Qifrey so close and is nervous like I bet you are buddy

Same with voice. The #1 advice I give girls looking to start work on voice training is just to listen to your mom, especially like when she's on the phone calling a doctor or a business or something. Also, I look like my mom kinda but I REALLY look my aunt. Like, more and more so as I get older.
