At Oxford Engineering, Digital Image Correlation (DIC) turns images into precise measurements of deformation. Researchers used DIC to study fracture behaviour of Roman concrete from the Podium Temple in Antioch- helping determine the fracture resistance of this ancient material. #WorldPhotographyDay
