Sadly I only met him a couple of times but his passion for the marque was clear and his knowledge encyclopaedic. More than that, he was a huge supporter of his kids’ and grandkids’ passion for cars and right at the heart of his family. He will be sorely missed.

Tony spent his life selling Fords during the company’s heyday in the UK, but he didn’t just sell them; he was passionate about them, and owned the truly lovely Sierra XR4i you see at the top of this thread.

Nice. Agree on the plastics. I ran this GTE as a long-termer for six months. Good car and I was quite pleased with the spec (I had a feeling Red would look good). My firstborn came home from hospital in it! -Scrof
